Spicy Red Pepper Hummus


Don't use products from jars & cans they said... It yield's an inferior dish they said... Okay, that may be true for most products, but not Rupen's. Our chickpeas are fresh and our chili paste, pasty. Derived from Marathi, our Tambda (red) chili paste is the best solution to titillate your taste buds. I hope you like our spicy red pepper hummus.

Serves: 4-6

Ingredients

1 teaspoon of Rupen's Red Chili Paste (Tambda)

1 cup canned chickpeas, rinsed

2 Tablespoons of olive oil

1 red pepper in brine

1/2 teaspoon of sea salt

 

Instructions

Blend all the ingredients in a food processor until smooth.

Refrigerate for a couple of hours and then serve along with pita chips. When refrigerated, this can be consumed for up to a week.
